Roland Charles has a devouring passion for chocolate and an unconditional love for taste! This is the origin of this delicious chocolate adventure.
The challenge was great when Roland Charles, created his first recipes in the family garage. His ambition? Regain the image of the spread with an artisanal product, without palm oil and 100% natural and carefully selected raw materials.
Roland Charles was born and raised in the Loire alongside fine parents and caterers by trade and heart! A childhood in the wonderful world of good cuisine made with reason and common sense. It is undoubtedly this greedy childhood that explains the choice of the profession of Chocolatier. Over time Roland has added his touch of daring and pinch of creativity to this dream job!
In 2009, he then opened the door of the first French chocolate factory dedicated to spread. This specialty makes Roland a pioneering creator of spreads, one of the first to offer a quality product. The fruit of his rigor, Roland, picked it up in July 2018 where he was awarded Maître Artisan Chocolatier.
And here is the FIRST and ONLY French chocolate factory expert in spreads. On the stands of market fairs, in shops and on this website you will only find spread! And yes, we only do that but we do it well! Since its creation, the little chocolate factory has grown and other great gourmets have joined Roland, determined to continue this adventure and share it around them.
Charles Chocolartisan is the first and only chocolate factory in France to be an expert in palm oil-free spreads.
