Fir honey (a typical product)
Fir honey is produced differently than other honeys. The tree does not have flowers, the bees do not have nectar to harvest. However, they will collect the honeydew, a viscous and thick liquid substance that is excreted by aphids, and subsequently deposited on plants, such as fir.
